GODDAMMIT THAT THING WHERE I'M INSANELY STRESSED OUT IS HAPPENING AGAIN.
Back in Oberlin. Hanging around Keep is like being a little kid left alone in a big mansion. Have gone to two amazing parties in the past two nights; John's OSCA business-casual Cotillion and the Feve 80's party. Lots of dancing around with people I love. This year should be good.
Look at this food!
BEHOLD!
This is how we're gonna be alerting the rest of the world to our progress. So watch it!
The alumni are here. Some of them are really awesome (e.g. old biker couple walking around with their helmets on, nose-pierced muscle guy sitting with 2-year-olds at OSCA picnic) Most of them seem pretty normal. But maybe my view of normality has been so totally skewed that I can't even differentiate the totally normal from the mildly eccentric. One of them started telling me his favorite parts of Wayne's World.
Ongoing anxiety about the bike trip. Working with Tyler has pretty much kept me sane; if he dropped out I probably would too. Though we got $1000 from the Center for American Progress! Because of Johanna! How badass is that? I talked to a biker alumni from Indiana; she was really helpful but she was worried about the wind. Fuckin' wind.
I got most of my grades back. On one hand, I'm pleasantly surprised - I was expecting a mostly B semester (possibly failing Dawson), but so far it's A-'s with a B+ from Dawson. This makes my total GPA a 3.43, which is a B+ kind of deal, which I suppose isn't bad, but after high school and crushing my AP exams kind of hurts, anyway. I am a small fish in a big pond.
Please watch this.
Tonight started freaking out, went over to Ben Shapiro's house, he fed me lentils and gave me a computer charger he found in the trash. I won't sleep tonight and tomorrow I'll be frantically moving my stuff across campus, but at least after that I can sleep.
Argh.
Finals = suck.
On the plus side, the bike derby. Quite possibly the best combination of bicycling/drunken bicycling/jousting/postapocalyptia/irres
Today I was lamenting the unnused flour in Harkness's basement and John Sidall was all "well I can go get it" and went and unlocked Harkness and took 25 pounds of flour and left. It is useful having the president of OSCA in your student organization.
Minus: Not going to see Bomb the Music Industry. :-(
Plus: Sleep?

I feel like I actually did fairly well on Dawson's final. Though I thought I did well on the midterm, too.
Also my boss just emailed me and told me she's thinking about firing me.
This just might be the Worst All-Nighter Ever!
Screenplay due tomorrow. 52 pages written and no inspiration. Fuck fuck fuck.
Okay. There is a Bomb the Music Industry concert this Sunday. If I finish this without freaking out, I will let myself go to that.
Also, I want a pet anteater.
Tonight drove the truck around with Benji and his slightly crazy friend James, looting all the co-ops of their dry goods. James owns an ambulance; he bought it from "some guy".
